The Advisory Board (AB) consists of external experts that, where necessary, may be asked to provide guidance to the GA and/or EB on the scientific and operational direction of the RESILENS project. The Advisory Board comprises a range of disaster and crisis resilience experts which wide ranging specialisms in areas including critical infrastructure, data and resilience, governance resilience and emergency management. The Advisory Board is comprised of the following members:
- George Tsakiris, National Technical University of Athens as a representative of the European Water Resources Network;
- Michael Batty, University College London (Big Data and Resilience);
- Angela Marlovits, Gas Infrastructure Europe;
- Andrea Soehnchen, (UITP) International Association of Public Transport;
- Willi Wendt, Universität Stuttgart (DRIVER Project Partner – expert on governance resilience and civil resilience framework which includes a variety of subthemes);
- Dr. Wolfgang Kröger, Affiliated Distinguished Professor TU Munich Executive Director, ETH Risk Center Scheuchzerstrasse;
- Peter Daly, Chief Emergency Management Officer – HSE South, Emergency Management Office, Ireland;
- Dr. Susan L. Cutter (Director of the Hazards and Vulnerability Research Institute);
- Raymond Lane, Defence Forces Ireland. (DRIVER Project).
